Broker Dealer Operations Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide active support to Retail desk with trade-related processes. Liaison with IT to resolve system issues.
• Process invoices, monitor fees/commissions, review contracts, and provide assistance with Finance and Compliance procedures.
• Analyze P&L and performance, and create manuals and presentations.
• Perform asset transfers, ACATs and wires.
• Perform trade reconciliation and support trade settlements for all products: Equities, Options, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, FX.
• Trade allocation and confirmation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong initiative, analytical ability, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, ability to design advanced charts.
• Highly organized, flexibility, and able to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
• 2+ years working in Operations at an investment bank or financial firm.
• Series 99 or the ability to pass the exam within a short period of time.
• Project management experience and ability to collaborate across functions (Operations, Trading, IT, Legal, and Compliance).
• Proficiency with Excel
• Spanish and Portuguese language skills a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both in speaking and writing.
