Commercial Digital Technology - S2C Business Partner

This role will support the ongoing evolution of digital capabilities delivered as part of the global, cross-segment, end-to-end transformation of Mars' Commercial (Procurement Source to Pay processes). This role will specifically focus on capabilities delivered within commercial S2C processes - Category Management, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management. Scope includes partnering with Functional Experts, Global Business Operations, and Business Stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests/ manage capability roadmaps, manage the delivery of enhancement requests, manage the deployment of a small set of projects/pilots (in some cases), and participate in business-as-usual governance processes for live solutions.

• Knowledge of Commercial Systems and/or SAAS solutions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Management
• Proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams including business users and other technology teams

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Identifies & understands the business and systems impact of the solution and plans the detailed tasks required to deliver the fully tested solution.
• Supports maintenance/development of digital strategy and Commercial Architecture diagrams.
• Acts as the digital technology (DT) partner on initiatives, activities, enhancement requests, break fixes, etc., to provide inputs and/or identify any necessary changes to upstream commercial solutions.
• Runs governance/prioritization of changes (enhancements and bug fixes), including coordinating budget estimation, obtaining alignment for enhancement scope & solution, etc. as part of Mars' Release Management processes.
• Maintains capability roadmaps/backlog to scale capability and accommodate new use cases in deployed upstream commercial solutions.
• Oversees activities are carried out to configure software packages and/or coordinate the work of technical resources or vendors. Executes necessary technical governance processes where required.
• Partners with business stakeholders to translate customer needs/feedback into accurate business and converts these into functional and technical specifications.
• Manages delivery for smaller projects (up to $0.3M annually); or manages the plan for defined activities on larger projects.
• Escalates issues and risks to the Deployment Project Manager or Senior Deployment Project Manager.
