Position: CNC/Lathe Machinist

Location: Ashland, VA

Duration: Contract-to-Hire position after the 90-day period is up (Depending on performance and needs)

Shift Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 AM, Mon-Friday with Saturdays required)

Benefits/Incentive: Excellent benefits package if hired full time including 401K, ESOP, PTO, Health, Dental, Eye & Life Insurance

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hr. (Depending on experience)

Primary Job Function:

• CNC/Manual Machinist for the manufacturing of overhead cranes and components

Detailed Duties and Expectations:

• Consistently produce high-quality and accurate parts
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to use precision measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges
• Work 10 hours per day, and Saturdays are required
• Show up to work on time every day
• Ability to hold tolerances to within .0005” as required
• Able to work safely in a heady industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret shop machining drawings
• Ability to set up and run CNC machines, manual lathes, mills, and drill presses working off shop drawings

Pre-Employment Requirements:
