Position: Manual Machinist

Location/s: Ashland, VA

Duration: 3 months contract (possibility to convert to permanent role depending on performance and needs)

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hr. (Depending on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Mon-Fri; Work 10hrs./day, and Saturdays as required)

Qualdoc is seeking a Manual Machinist for the manufacturing of overhead cranes and components. Consistently produce high-quality and accurate parts.

Requirements:

• Ability to hold tolerances to within .0005” as required
• Ability to set up and run Manual Lathes, Mills and Drill presses working off shop drawings
• Able to use precision measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work safely in a Heavy Industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret Shop Machining drawings

Pre-Employment Requirements:
