The Clinical Training Administrator is responsible for the development and delivery of clinical training related to the Care Management technical systems, changes in regulatory requirements and continuing education. The Clinical Training Administrator determines the appropriate delivery methods, audit and feedback mechanisms, analyzing business impacts, and recommending cost effective solutions.
What you'll do:
  • Facilitates the process for monitoring and testing of associates readiness through application of skills in a learning environment (e.g. mock cases) to augment web and instructor led courses.
  • Develops training proposals based on a training needs assessment (e.g. identify training desired; identifying target groups, testing evaluation mechanism with pilot groups to determine effectiveness and efficiency; and determining best method of delivering training).
  • Works with other departments within Premera, or contracted vendors to format and package content for delivery.
  • Acts as an internal consultant; providing technical advice and consultation to customer groups and stakeholders by advising management on training projects and activities.
  • Designs, builds, and manages production of web e-learning modules (CBT, WBT). Revise e-learning programs, including text-based content, from internal & external feedback, understanding of the business, and working with subject matter experts.
  • Designs, develops and delivers instructor lead training and e-learning strategies.
  • Merges business and clinical concepts into new training programs to bridge the understanding between the technical use of the system and the clinical interpretation applied to the health care industry.
  • Works closely with manager, team members and clinical subject matter experts to research content and write and present engaging interactive programs using conferencing tools and in person following the rules of instructional design for adult learners.
  • Integrates adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies for both traditional instructor-led & web-based training material.
What you'll bring:
  • Current State Nurse License (RN, LPN, ARNP) or current Mental Health License (LFMT, LMHC, LicSW) in applicable states
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience
  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of work experience.
Preferred incumbents will have:
  • Training certification
  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
  • Technical certification(s) in Web Development Technology or experience in working with e-learning and web authoring tools (e.g. Authorware, Flash, HTML, ASP)
  • Experience with InterQual

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Salary Range:
$68,400.00 - $116,300.00
National Plus Salary Range:
$77,300.00 - $131,400.00
  • National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
