Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Trainer

Location: San Antonio,Texas

Full-time


Position Summary:

The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for the effective delivery of training for new business initiatives, new and existing training programs that encompass training of clinical staff such as Physicians, mid-level providers, and medical assistants as well as non-clinical staff.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with adult learning/training, virtual training, instructional design and/or training project management (i.e., performing presentations in person and/or through virtual platforms, classroom training experience, virtual (Teams/WebEx) training experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, and Workflows
  • 3+ years of clinical experience, or experience training clinical staff
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managed care preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge and experience working with eClinicalWorks preferred
  • Experience in project management preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide training for updates, upgrades and new functionalities to the EMR
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Prepares for and supports effective training facilitation appropriate for the adult learner
  • Develop, prepare and lead training sessions in both group and one-on-one settings for new and established Providers
  • Create and maintain EMR learning materials for use by new Providers and ongoing educational content for use by current Providers
  • Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience
  • Establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff and management
  • Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to drive changes to learning approaches/strategies/methodologies
