PATH is seeking clinicians licensed with the California BBS and with clinical supervision credentials to join our San Diego C3V Program as a Program Manager.
ABOUT THE C3V PROGRAM
The Community Care Coordination for Veterans (C3V) Program provides comprehensive care coordination, service navigation, and housing assistance for veterans who have serious mental illness, are homeless or at-risk of homelessness, and are either currently incarcerated or have been recently released from custody.
WHAT IS A CLINCAL PROGRAM MANAGER?
Under the guidance of the Associate Director, the Clinical Program Manager provides clinical leadership and oversight to the C3V Program and its staff to ensure the upmost quality of the program and supportive services provided. Responsibilities of the Program Manager include:
- Conducting weekly supervision meetings and setting and adjusting workloads and schedules
- Ensuring the program is compliant with all obligations including contracts, partnership agreements, and funding requirements
- Performing periodic internal audits and submitting monthly reports
- Program OutreachRepresenting the program to local agencies including the Veteran Affairs Department, community stake holders, and local governments through networking and education regarding the program and PATH
- Staff Support & DevelopmentProviding direction and support to all staff including regular training, feedback and taking corrective or disciplinary action for issues as necessary
- Program Management & OversightCollaborating with the Associate Director to ensure successful program implementation, coordination of participant services, achievement of performance measures, and evaluation of services
- Collaborating with the evaluation team to ensure evaluation of program outcomes and performance
- Program Development & EvaluationFunctioning as a liaison between the funder and program to ensure system-level barriers are reduced by innovating and implementing strategies and interventions that align with the contract scope and PATH’s service approach
- Operating as the main point of contact for all program matters including responding to inquiries from funders, monitoring sub-contractors, responding to general inquiries from outside partners and working with PATH’s finance department to monitor budgets
- Reports, Contracts & ComplianceCoordinating with the Associate Director to review and authorize all program and contract reports prior to submission
WHAT YOU BRING
We’re looking for candidates that:
- Have experience working in program start-up
- Effectively cope with and resolve immediate crisis situations
- Have a strong sense of prioritization and can coordinate multiple demands in a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of program management, including the handling of budgets and best practices for program analysis to identify areas of opportunity and make suggestions for course correction
- Display a strong ability to represent the interests of the agency and build successful collaborative relationships with program participants, staff and other stake holders
- Have experience in homeless services or working with vulnerable populations
- Work just as well independently as they do on a team
- Exercise mature judgement, and are highly motivated, self-starting and proactive
- Maintain and execute confidential information according to HIPAA standards
- Are excellent at communicating, whether in writing or verbally
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
For this role the Clinical Program Manager must:
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire: Tuberculosis Test - Background Screening - Drug Test
- Be able and willing to work flexible hours which may include evenings or weekends
- Be a licensed clinician with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (e.g. LCSW); certified to provide clinical supervision strongly preferred
- Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
- Have at least 3 years of supervisory experience supervising veteran or justice involved programs, demonstrating strong skills in staff supervision and program development and implementation, including the development of policies and procedures
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must:

- A valid driver’s license
- Have reliable transportation
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
