Summary:

Cook Children's has an exciting opportunity for Clinical Pediatric Immunologist Physician to provide evaluation, diagnostic, and management services for children with immunological disorders. Our comprehensive program provides both diagnostic and state-of-the-art treatment opportunities for patients with primary immunodeficiency diseases. The immunology group sees a wide spectrum of immunological diseases, caring for both inpatients and outpatients at our hospital sites in Fort Worth, TX. The successful candidate will have experience in the clinical care of children with immunological disorders. Experience with genetic testing for inborn errors of immunity and laboratory evaluation of immune disorders is strongly encouraged.

The Cook Children’s Immunology team works closely with other specialties within Cook Children’s, including rheumatology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, genetics and bone marrow transplant.

The successful applicant will join a pediatric immunologist, a pediatric immunology NP, dedicated immunology RN, dedicated MA, and dedicated insurance specialist. Social worker and pharmacists are share with infectious disease clinic.

Qualifications:

• American Heart Association BLS and PALS.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
• Board certified/board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.
