Primary Function of Position:

As a Clinical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for the development of educational content that meets the clinical needs of internal and external customers. You will be responsible for collaborating with management and cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize, design, deliver, and manage clinical content to improve the knowledge and skills of the sales force. You will also assist the other Clinical and Product Education Managers with creating content to address the short- and long-term education needs of the field.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams such as: Marketing, Medical Research, Clinical Development Engineering, Commercial Training, PEPS, Regulatory, Legal
• Act as a as a clinical subject matter expert for Instructional Designers
• Support current procedure advancement alongside engineering and marketing teams
• Develop and deliver clinical presentations/activities during sales training programs
• Update existing training materials for content, formatting, and branding, leveraging the appropriate tool – MS Word, MS PowerPoint, InDesign or Adobe PDF
• Conduct clinical training and sign-offs for international and US Customer Training, Commercial Learning, Marketing and Genesis teams
• Train and qualify Sales Training presenters on clinical presentations
• Work with Education Managers to develop new learning content and evaluations as well as improve upon existing training activities
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers to write learning objectives for various clinical training materials
• Complete 7-8 week internal training course on clinical and technical content and applications

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

• Experience creating educational materials for adult learners
• Capacity and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively on projects with aggressive timelines
• Self-starter who is solution-oriented and execution-oriented
• Experienced multi-tasker: ability to manage multiple assignments and successfully meet deadlines
• Proficiency with: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, InDesign, Acrobat DC
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or above (Clinical or Health Science degree preferred)
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical disease states, and surgical applications preferred
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in training and/or project management

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1:$103,700 - $149,300

Base Salary Range Region 2: $88,200 - $126,900
