Responsibilities
Ensure data is in a usable format and conduct queries to support our team's daily operations.
Provide guidance to staff on data formats and methodologies for ad hoc routine reporting.
Analyze reports and offer valuable analytic support to team members.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance the quality of data submissions.
Report directly to the Assistant Director and contribute to the overall success of our initiatives.
Required Skills
Analytical Mindset: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address data-related challenges.
Process Analysis: Experience in analyzing and documenting processes and requirement specifications, with a focus on developing clinical workflows.
Technical Acumen: Understand general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications.
Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to interact and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Clinical Data Expertise: Possess a subject matter expert (SME) level of knowledge working with clinical data, EHRs, HL7 v2, and C-CDA messages.
Statistical Proficiency: Knowledge of statistics, SAS, SQL, and clinical information systems to perform data analysis effectively.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with HIPAA and health care regulatory compliance as they relate to Electronic Health Record (EHR)/Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Health Information Exchange (HIE).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools: Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint to support your daily tasks.
