Job Description

CD Leycom’s US Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) will be responsible for the management of all day-to-day aspects of supporting the use of CD Leycom’s pressure-volume loop (i.e. PV Loop) products.Successful candidates will be forward-thinking, anticipate needs and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment; both independently and as part of a collaborative team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Deliver exceptional user support and an unrivaled customer experience in the hemodynamic space

·Educate and train customers and internal stakeholders on CD Leycom’s products

·Assist in product troubleshooting and customer support inquiries

·Serve as a subject matter expert on PV loop hemodynamics at trade shows and corporate events

·Support the sales organization in new site identification, site initiation, continuous clinician training, and case support

·Partner with the marketing team to identify the changing needs of clinical customers

·Contribute, review, and identify areas of improvement in the ongoing efforts to improve product instructions and support materials; develop and implement new training materials and support resources

·Provide education on all aspects of the device, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants

·Conduct and manage Post Market Surveillance (PMS) for use of CD Leycom’s products

·Provide feedback to Management team on customer feedback for new product development

·Conduct product demos and installations for new and prospective customers


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·Bachelor's degree required

·Must be based in the US and located within 1 hour of a major airport

·A minimum of 1+ years of experience providing clinical support/training in pre-clinical or clinical surgical environment

·Demonstrated expertise and familiarity practicing in the cardiac surgery suite, OR, CathLab, EP lab, and/or ICU is preferred

·Proven ability to effectively train and educate clinicians on new technologies

·Ability to travel up to 30% with frequent overnights required

·Medical device/ Industry experience preferred

·Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required

·Moderate understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology
