Description:

As a clinical application scientist (CAS), you are an experienced Clinical Embryologist with commercial drive and understanding and will support CooperSurgical’s products and solutions throughout North America through regular clinic visits.

Essential Functions:

• Bring back insights from clinic visits to Marketing to help the Commercial team identify opportunities for improved partnership with clinics
• Increase # publications/congress talks/local data/testimonials supporting both our #1 in Embryo Care initiatives, and in-clinic implementation
• Participate in the global online training program offering by Medical Affairs
• Support the Global scientific communication profile with inputs to White papers and ART Scientific
• Whilst in-clinic, ensure all customer needs are met, and work closely with Account Managers to provide scientific support for customers as part of value-added multi-year partnership proposals and Managed Clinic Contracts
• Work closely with the Americas Marketing team to ensure alignment of activities and time allocation/prioritization with broader business priorities. Join marketing & sales meeting as needed.
• Ensure that clinics consistently partner with CooperSurgical to drive (and demonstrate) best practices for clinical outcome
• Run local workshops and training in collaboration with the Account Managers, senior CAS, Marketing and Medical Affairs
• Provide in-clinic biopsy support and training, ensuring product adoption is fully implemented in-house, with scientific “non-sales” skills
• Generates testimonials and in-clinic data and business cases
• Work closely as part of the global Medical Affairs team, to ensure alignment of activities and sharing of global best practices. Join Global Medical Affairs meetings as deemed appropriate

Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc/PhD
• Collaborative; Relationship builder
• Confident speaker and networker. Able to observe and suggest improvements to customers tactfully and respectfully.
• Able to see the big picture and prioritize and optimize time and customer visits.
• 5+ years of Embryology experience required
• Adaptable and flexible
• Practical, patient, strong problem solver and observer

Our Benefits:

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $$110,000 and $180,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
