Scientist, Clinical Laboratory Jobs

Job Summary: Performs clinical laboratory tests on patient specimens according to established standards and practices. Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary for interpretation and performance of; test results, age specific data, quality control, instrument maintenance, and quality improvement practices. Assists in the instruction and education of the Technologist with regard to testing procedures, department policies, quality control, and instrument maintenance. May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Current valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by the State of California. Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science or Medical Technology. Preferred: Master’s Degree. One + years of experience as a CLS in an acute care facility.

Salary Range: $41.91-$58.97 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
