Day in the life:

Leading a team of Client Services Representatives

Responsible for 1:1's and training for employees

Ensuring coverage and assessing staffing needs daily

Holding staff accountable to their positions and coaching for success

Cross functional teamwork with the other Supervisors

Administrative duties to include timecards, supply purchasing and budgeting

Schedule: Full Time - five 8-hour shifts per week, shift times and days will vary, rotating Saturday's with other Supervisor's

Pay : $24.00-25.00 per hour

Location: Golden Valley and St. Paul

What you will be doing:

Job Purpose: You're a people centric dynamic leader who supports and develops the team by caring personally and challenging professionally. You create excitement around a culture of improvement and a culture of why, making sure your team always has what they need. You ensure consistency in both delivery and execution in a fast paced setting.

Leadership — Own outcomes, work collaboratively, and hold self and the team accountable. Model the coaching approach to leadership and participate in first teams.

Support — Lead the team and independently oversee clinic operations within a multi-clinic structure, consulting experts as needed. Purchase and manage supplies, budget, manage time records, bank deposits, and schedules.

Strategy — Understand and commit to the requirement of excellence, continuous improvement, and department and organizational goals. Ensure successful adaptation and consistent and quality service delivery.

Communication — Listen, pay attention, and be a responsible steward of information. Distill and convey information in a clear, complete, and timely manner in alignment with organizational messaging. Model open, clear communication with clients and rescue clients. Work closely with other department supervisors to ensure consistent messaging.

Culture — Foster an open and inclusive work environment by modeling AHS's behaviors and values, consistent with the vision and mission of the organization. Champion a culture of safety and promote meaningful volunteer engagement.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

Experience Leadership experience required. Customer service and/or veterinary services experience preferred, especially in high-emotion settings.

Schedule — Regular attendance, punctuality, and availability to work during operational hours as defined by leadership with the expectation to work varied hours including rotating Saturday shifts at the University Avenue location. Ability to cover leadership shifts at Golden Valley and University Avenue locations.

Computer Skills — Proficient with computers, specifically, a working knowledge of Microsoft products.

Interpersonal Skills — Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, must have ability to work as a leader of the team and partner collaboratively with a diverse group of external and internal customers and departments.

AdaptabilityAbility to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a variety of situations and the willingness to collaborate. Ability to quickly adapt to growing clinic needs.

Physical & Emotional Capabilities — Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in a high volume clinic environment, including the use of euthanasia for public end of life services. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must have a high level of resiliency.
