Job Summary


The Advanced Mission Solutions team is seeking a Client Program Analyst to support Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) efforts in Airbase Technologies. This position is located on-site at Tyndall Air Force Base, near Panama City, FL. The successful candidate will support efforts related to U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering requirements, specifically related to expeditionary technologies.


Working in Battelle’s National Security group, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work directly with federal clients and partners in research efforts that aim to unlock cutting-edge technology for the warfighter in fields such as Robotics, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and many more.


Responsibilities


  • May assist in developing Battelle program documentation including briefings, draft specifications, solicitations, Statements of Work (SOW), and other project execution documentation.
  • Prepare programmatic and financial information for briefings, presentations, and status reports.
  • Contributes to program and task-related reports, briefings, justification, and requests.
  • Participates in establishing and defining program plans, including cost and/or schedule requirements, and assist in project plan development, management of project cost, schedule & performance.
  • Monitor and report program commitments, obligations, expenditures, contract performance, and program status execution to include program milestones, schedule & cost, conduct related analyses, and track financial and technical metrics.
  • Conducts quality control and quality assurance review of program documents prior to submission to management.
  • Prepares and presents presentations to internal management and to internal and/or external customers to provide reviews and updates on technical aspects, cost, and schedule.
  • Helps plan, organize, execute project resources; manage budget; project deliverables; and other related project management activities for multiple projects.
  • Assist with the program and financial management to ensure successful delivery of R&D efforts within the scope, budget and schedule of the baseline agreement and changes the baseline when appropriate client directed changes are approved.
  • Apply systems engineering approaches to planning, coordinating, and executing technical development efforts of multiple fields such as Robotics, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Explosive Ordnance Disposal to achieve success in operational demonstrations of new technologies employed by the Joint Force.
  • Work directly with the Technical Management Team for large Research and Development (R&D) efforts including Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD), Concepts and Capabilities (CC), Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) and other programs.


Key Qualifications


  • Experienced leading teams in training, demonstrations, and field tests (or operations) and comfortable presenting technical data
  • Demonstrate experience or working knowledge of operational demonstrations of new technologies employed by the Joint Force.
  • Experience with government funding mechanisms, opportunities, and reporting
  • Experienced in DoD technology and development in fields such as Robotics, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Explosive Ordnance Disposal


Educational And Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree (Management, Business Administration, Engineering Management, or similar is highly desirable).
  • 2+ years’ management experience (preferably related to management/analysis of technical programs).
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficient knowledge and experience required of Microsoft Office products (MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Proactive, self-starter who can work independently and, in a team, environment.
  • Currently hold an active Secret level clearance
  • Knowledge of expeditionary military operating procedures is desired, with working knowledge of Civil and/or Expeditionary Engineering preferred.
