Job Description
Reports to: Boutique Manager


Contract: Full-time and permanent


Location: Yorkdale Boutique


Your role @Chanel:


To strengthen Client relation culture throughout the Boutique and assist Fashion Advisors to build long term relationships with their clients through clienteling.


To lead by example and encourage optimum standards and activities amongst the team, including sufficient floor coverage, while monitoring and managing standards of customer service, product care, staff presentation and teamwork at all times.


What impact you can create at Chanel:


  • Working closely with FA’s to collect responses & feedback from clients & relay to the Marketing team.
  • Liase with key concierge and restaurants in the city to develop strong relationships
  • Develop and take ownership of action plan to achieve the clientele objectives regarding retention and upgrading of clients
  • Arrange monthly meetings with each FA to review initiatives and execution
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times, overseeing and supporting the team in upholding the standards as detailed within the CHANEL Charter including prompt response to telephone queries and relevant after sales care.
  • Work with management to create list for Client show orchestrations and ensuring they are distributed in a timely manner
  • Working closely with the operations co-ordinator to ensure courtesy and mandatory repair follow ups are being completed.
  • Customer Experience / Customer Relationships
  • Ensure timely distribution and communication of the CHANEL Charter to all staff as well as monitoring that guidelines are understood and adhered to at all times.
  • Entertainment & Gifting Coordination
  • Support FA’s with their communication (text/thank you cards/emails) to clients to ensure they meet the CHANEL standard
  • Team Spirit
  • Present during Boutique morning briefs with best practices and celebrating team successes
  • Support with the local logistics of events and VIC engagements
  • Coordinating Client relationship Activities/Support team in clienteling activities
  • Coordinate with each FA to propose gifting and florals for client engagement and development
  • Ensure suitable and structured organization, communication and monitoring of weekly quotas and daily breaks.
  • Establish, maintain, and encourage good customer relationships including welcoming customers as the Host of the store and directing the clients to appropriate staff.
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and management within own and other Boutiques, as well as with senior management and CHANEL Head Office as required.
  • Run regular sessions dedicated to data capture and client privacy policies
  • Although comprehensive the job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be added according to the needs of the business and as requested by the Boutique Director, Head of Retail or CHANEL Head Office.
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality of the Company’s commercial activities and internal affairs at all times

  • Strong organization and follow-up skills (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Professional presentation and behaviour
  • Luxury retail selling experience, preferably in a similar role or customer service setting
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
