Client Account Representative [Full-Time]

Summary: Assists Portfolio Managers and upper management in making informed credit decisions regarding existing and potential borrowers. Prepares and presents daily advance and other credit requests by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Requests and reviews ongoing compliance reporting for financials, bank statements, and other applicable reporting for clients.
• Completes chargebacks and related debtor and/or client entries.
• Reviews debtor credit limit requests daily, working with Dun & Bradstreet, etc.
• Receives and previews loan applications and related documents. Ensures that applications are complete as to core requirements and all other initial items have been received or requested prior to underwriting.
• Issues notification of assignment to new debtors as needed, and assists with NOA letters for specific clients as needed to ensure payments were sent to lockbox or controlled deposit accounts.
• Assists in lockbox set up and administration.
• Spreads client financial statements.
• Coordinates with accounting for daily cash reconciliations.
• Assists in training new cash posting personnel and providing support for cash posting role when this personnel is hired.
• Reviews and processes daily funding requests for clients, including client invoice upload, backup documentation, communication with client, and other analysis.
• Assists with credit analysis and underwriting tasks or other projects as needed.
• Conducts accounting balancing on clients.
• Posts cash for all clients and account debtors (ACH, lockbox and physical checks), including images and sweeps from non-BankFinancial lockboxes
• Assists in pulling required background, lien, and tax reports and other KYC information.
• Prepares reports for management as needed.

Required Experience

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting from a four-year college or university or one year relevant commercial credit experience, preferably in a bank or commercial finance company environment.
