Claims Administrator - Remote

The Claims Administrator gathers internal systems and customer provided information to validate, support and service of the customers in completing the claims process across all the lines of business. The responsibility will include processing and research validation of all the claims received from various sources to be followed up till the resolution is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
The Claims Administrator investigates multiple internal systems and customer provided information to validate, support and assist customers in completing the claims process across all the lines of business. Responsibilities will include researching, validating, and processing claims received from multiple customers while maintaining a positive client experience through regular customer follow-up until the resolution is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage claims activities in Salesforce or other CRM tools both accurately and timely
  • Manage customer interactions by serving the needs of our customers by resolving claim inquires within set timeframes and contractual SLAs
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other business units to identify root cause, countermeasures and the accuracy of claim requests while following up to ensure timely resolution of cases
  • Support managers in analyzing, planning, decision-making and problem-solving activities
  • Work independently to resolve customer issues by providing feedback to management and business partners on opportunities for process enhancements
  • Provides other administrative support as needed
  • Assist with special projects when required
  • Interact with customers and other Brink’s partners to effectively escalate and process claims within SLA agreements
  • Investigate, obtain, and research relevant documentation to determine claim validity
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in direct customer communication via email, phone and meetings
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Armored carrier or transportation and logistics background
  • 2 years of experience navigating a complex corporate environment
  • Brink’s specific product line knowledge
  • Financial Institution, ATM, and/or Smart Safe background
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM system of record
