Nature Of Work
Manages, plans, and directs the operation of the Engineering Division which incorporates the functions of engineering services, development review, surveying, and records management. Manages the project utility coordination, design review, construction review and ensures engineering related compliance to engineering standards, regulations, and codes. Coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies. Work is performed under the general direction of the Public Works Director.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related science and four (4) or more years of progressively responsible experience in Public Works or related engineering planning, designing, and construction. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) by the State of Florida required prior to employment. Valid Florida Driver's License required.
