Child Welfare Evaluation Specialist - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned jurisdictions as needed
• Lead evaluation conceptualization, planning, and implementation
• Establish a close working relationship with the client
• Coach agencies on evaluation and continuous quality improvement
• Collaborate with agencies to develop individual site evaluation plans
• Engage stakeholders, including lived experts, in evaluation processes
• Provide regular updates and consultation to the client
• Develop relationships with agency partners involved in the project
• Conduct rigorous evaluation of child welfare interventions

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a tier 2 security clearance
• 10-15 years of professional work experience
• Experience in training/technical assistance provision, preferably in child welfare
• Master's degree in social work, public administration, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience evaluating broad scale interventions in public service systems
• Experience with culturally responsive, participatory, and trauma-informed evaluation
• Knowledge of FFPSA and IVE Prevention Services Clearinghouse requirements
• Ph.D. in social work, public administration, or related field
• Familiarity with the Child and Family Services Review process and data-driven decision making

• Pay range for this position is $75,157.00 - $127,767.00
• Applicants must have resided in the U.S. or U.S. territories for 3 of the last 5 years
