Fully remote role...can be located anywhere in the US!
Summary
Delivers technical consulting project activities (including system implementation/modernization) for medium to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
Job Summary
  • Coordination with technical staff to understand business requirements, specifications, and processes.
  • Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
  • Market research and understanding of health and human market trends.
  • Technical responsibilities include problem identification, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
  • Analyzing complex data and identifying patterns, recommending actions, and measuring outcomes.
  • Creating system functional specifications from business requirements.
  • Performance is evaluated based on utilization and contractual deliverables.
  • Project activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education required:
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or at least four (4) years of relevant experience.
Education preferred:
  • Master's degree in related field preferred.
Skills/Experience required:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, Visio, Project and other computer software applications required to perform duties of this position.
  • Experience working effectively with a cross functional team.
  • Ability to quickly understand health and human service business processes and systems that support these processes.
  • Ability to lead or work as a key member of a team with detail orientation.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally to all segments of the population.
  • Ability to translate data into findings and communicate such to peers, management and clients.
  • Experience writing detailed plans and reports and creating project deliverables.
  • Experience in deadline-oriented work.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth data and problem analysis skills using industry standard means and tools.
  • Expertise and currency in government human services, health and/or workforce organizations is required.
  • Experience creating functional specifications for system solutions from business requirements.
  • Four (4) years of current, relevant experience.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Business Analyst experience required.
  • Systems implementation & modernization experience required.
  • Must have Social Services industry experience. (Child Welfare/Child Support system implementation experience is preferred.)

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
