Chief Operations Officer

Company Overview: Ready®, one of the fastest growing sports nutrition companies in America growing over 200% in the past 2 years, with co-owners Super Bowl Champion Aaron Donald and basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, is looking for a Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Position Purpose:The objective of this position is to provide top level management expertise and execution, overseeing the company’s entire Supply Chain, Procurement and Production areas. Focus is on operational coordination between departments while identifying and executing efficiencies and cost savings in the delivery of superior products and service to the company’s wholesale customers and consumers. The COO will collaborate with CEO in setting and driving operational strategies that will scale appropriately to support a fast growing company. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily Supply Chain, Procurement and Production operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency
• Identify vendor partners in all areas of operations and lead the negotiations on shipping, packaging, ingredients supply, 3PL utilization and contract manufacturing to ensure most favorable terms forthe company
• Evaluating company operational performance in its supply chain, procurement and production operations and recommend strategies to improve results in these areas
• Evaluate and streamline order processing functions to promote speed and accuracy
• Assist in the development and oversee the company’s demand planning functions to connect sales activity through the supply chain for cross function visibility
• Provide oversight in dealings with co-manufacturers
• Work closely with logistics team to increase shipping cost-effectiveness and to identify savings
• Implement operational strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CFO and CEO

• Experience in a fast growing, transformative entrepreneurial environment is preferred
• A minimum 15 years of executive leadership experience in multi-functional operations management, preferably in a CPG environment
• Specific managerial experience in co-manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and demand & production planning
