We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong track record in the technology industry to join our dynamic team. The COO will play a critical role in strategic decision making and operations to enhance quality throughout the organization's portfolio of services. This is a tremendous opportunity for a COO to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a high-impact organization.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee and manage all budgets, finance, and forecasting.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and its suppliers and customers.
  • Provide a strong day-to-day leadership presence for all staff, bridging operations and supporting an open-door policy among all staff.
  • Train staff and encourage their professional development.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with the board to set organizational goals and track progress.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Oversee the company's operational processes, and ensure a robust and efficient service delivery system.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan.
  • Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals for the organization.


Qualifications


  • Extensive knowledge of the contact center domain.
  • Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing operations, information technology, and legal.
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior operations leadership experience in the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of effectively interfacing with staff and the ability to build and sustain a high-performance team.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
  • Experience in the higher education sector is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
