Job Description

Benson Executive Search is partnering with a successful and expanding global organization to find its new Chief of Human Resources. Reporting to a passionate and progressive CEO and partnering with an energized and committed executive committee, this head of human capital will be part of this organization's transformation as it accelerates its product expansion, customer growth and global reach.


As a core member of the executive team, this business leader, with a functional expertise in HR, will drive and help lead the significant growth through careful alignment of HR strategies, approaches, and programs that support the business strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a strategic workforce planning agenda to enable the next great generation of employees.
  • Act as a trusted partner and coach to the CEO and members of the executive committee.
  • Maintain and inspire a strong, effective, and leading HR organization, that has Employee Experience at its heart, to deliver on the company’s agenda.
  • Identify business and interpersonal gaps in the executive leadership team and drive alignment by building bridges and helping the team become more effective.
  • Shape and drive the organization's DEI strategies.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of the leadership development strategy and ensure its execution.
  • Continue to elevate the HR team to create and execute sustainable, perpetual and programmatic approaches.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience coaching and developing a company’s senior leadership team, as well as partnering with and influencing a company’s board of directors.
  • Experience leading human resources at a high-growth, mid- to large-size, global organization.
  • Has built strong scalable DEI strategies and programs.
  • The ability to become a trusted advisor to members of the executive team and maintains the tools to drive the effectiveness of the top leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and advising a CEO on an ongoing basis, resulting in more effective leadership.
  • Strong proven experience in leading global change and growth.
  • Twenty-plus years of business and HR leadership within world-class global organizations, including North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
