We are looking for a dynamic Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join our team and help us expand our impact across key customer bases in National Security, Defense, and Citizen Services. As the CGO, you will lead our revenue generation efforts, oversee proposal operations and business development, and drive capture activities. With your strategic leadership, our work will directly support our nation's service members, farmers, and citizens, making a meaningful impact on critical missions across our national defense. - Excel at aligning key services and solutions to meet market requirements in the next 3 years
- Can evaluate budget and funding sources, competitive assessment, technology applicability, market demands, and price to win analyses and probability of winning
- Enjoy creatively positioning and capturing business for companies
- Are a savvy deal hunter that can identify areas of new opportunities within current client base and key whitespaces
- Have successfully developed and delivered customer Account Plans, Growth Pipelines, and Organic (land and expand) Growth
- Are passionate about business growth, customer advocacy, and high-performing teams
- Experience leading business development, capture, and proposal teams
- An understanding of the role of mergers and acquisitions in driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives, gained through direct involvement or exposure to such deals
- Experience in competitive environment assessment, technology applicability, market dynamics, price to win analyses, and probability of winning
- Demonstrable portfolio of sustained growth in previous roles
- A passion for winning large enterprise-level opportunities for federal civilian and defense customers
- At least 15 years of related experience, 5 of which has been leading large teams (10+) to deliver growth
- You’ll design corporate strategy and execute on MetroStar's vision and BHAG in close collaboration with our broader Executive Team
- This role requires 3+ days/week in our Reston, VA office
- Represent MetroStar in the industry and ensure you are on top of emerging trends that impact our future
- Bring people across the company into growth and
- Ensure MetroStar has a healthy pipeline to sustain growth in the out years
- Lead a large growth team to ensure they're aligned with the strategy and executing on our objectives
