This innovative company in an emerging industry that combines food, technology, and marketing is planning to grow exponentially in the next 5 years and seeking a driven Chief Financial Officer with 10+ years of experience in private equity and with a high-growth organization. Given that the firm is PE-backed, the CFO will work closely with CEO, Board of Directors, and leaders of the private equity firm.

Who You Are:

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience (PE, M&A, corporate development, strategy).
• Experience in acquisitions and leading M&A integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Entrepreneurial in nature and someone who can “roll up the sleeves.”
• Financial modelling skills required (from PE, I-banking, corporate development etc.)
• Success in managing and developing an organization that is metrics-driven (e.g. monthly dashboards, business reviews, defined annual goals, budgeting processes).
• Must have worked directly for a private equity firm. Additional industry experience a strong plus (Combo of PE + Industry).

What You’ll Do:

• Model and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and executive on operational goals.
• Manage the day-to-day finance operations and oversee all aspects of it, including but not limited to FP&A, corporate strategy, treasury, accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and tax planning.
• Strategically guide the CEO and PE in the right financial direction.
• Execute the company’s strategic financial plan and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
• Regularly report to the Board of Directors on strategic insights, M&A opportunities, and overall financial operations.
• Work with senior leadership on building, scaling, and leading a finance team.
• Oversee all cash accounts and cash flow forecasting and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $240,000 to $300,000 base per year plus an annual bonus. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
