Chief Executive Officer Jobs

Our client is looking for an business-driven CEO for a startup who has a strong background in both linear and social media content production. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have a passion for creating engaging content that resonates with audiences across all platforms. Experience with entertainment industry, social media, and/or technology are preferred.

Note, this role is equity-based only until pre-seed round is closed, anticipated end of summer/fall 2023.

The ideal candidate will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company. The team currently consists of 5 people on equity.

Responsibilities, working with the Founder:

• Oversee pitches for venture capitalists, business planning, forecasting financials
• Oversee technology roadmap
• Take lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together
• Make key decisions that will affect the company's direction
• Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace

Qualifications

• MBA
• Deep understanding of content and social media space and its business models
• Strong creative vision and the ability to think outside the box
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working with venture capitalists, angel investors, and previous experience with fundraising ideally
• Experience working in a start-up environment, business presentations and venture-capital backed companies
• Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• 10+ years' experience in business related field - ideally in entertainment, social or technology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
