Equipment Transport Cdl Driver Jobs

Must have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and take directions.

Must meet all DOT requirements

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

At minimum, two years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience logging at least 130,000 miles

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Loads and unloads tanker with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.

Deliver finished products or raw materials to assigned destination

Ensure safety and compliance of load

Maintain DOT driver log and other required transport documentation

Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test

Valid Class A CDL license (with HazMat/Double and Tanker endorsements)

Hauling consumer products and perishable consumer goods (e.g., transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments, etc.)

2 years of driving experience with a Class A Vehicle.

Transport finished goods or raw materials between facilities.

Load and unload goods using forklift or pallet jacks or connect or disconnect trailers at destination.

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as verify load and seal numbers.

Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Lading, and other paperwork as required.

Maintain vehicle, product and equipment to company standards.

One (1) year experience driving heavy truck or operating construction equipment.

Maintain open communication with managers and dispatch for delivery schedules

Report all accident involving driver or company equipment to manager

Minimum of one year driving experience.

Transport, deliver and retrieve small construction equipment (skid steer, mini ex, small rollers, etc.)

Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicle in safe and efficient manner

Promote professionalism and excellent customer service attitude

Knowledge of state laws for oversize loads and pilot car requirements

Knowledge of Hours of Service and use of ELD’s

Critical thinking problem solving skills

1 year commercial driving experience

Pre-Employment qualifications and drug screening
