SOC CCTV Operator – Cargo Security Compliance
Pay Rate $ 19.00 an hour

The work of a Security Operation Center (SOC) CCTV Operator is to monitor all cargo CCTV Systems across North American WFS network from the centrally located SOC in HDQ JFK New York. The CCTV Operator monitors multiple CCTV displays for suspicious, unusual, or hazardous activities. CCTV Operator will ensure all appropriate actions and notification(s) are completed to mitigate any observed security risk. Execute emergency SOC protocols when needed. Document detailed records, logs and all required written reports as indicated in the SOC Standard Operating Procedures of activities as they occur during the shift and affectively report all appropriate emergency and non-emergency situations in real-time to the SOC Manager. Provide feedback on operating processes, team processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement. Exercise discretion when discussing the nature of work. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times while on duty.
Job Requirements
Two to five year’s previous investigations, CCTV or security experience in field service duties. Independent judgment and decision-making skills required. College degree, military service or equivalent experience a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with various computer software helpful. Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, executive staff and managers.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form.
• Ability to operate equipment and hold necessary licensing (if applicable).

WFS is staffing a Security Operations Center (SOC) in our New York headquarters. The SOC analyst is responsible for monitoring security systems, emergencies, compiling daily statistical data reports to the SOC manager on duty, performing general work place duties as directed by the SOC manager on duty. .
The candidate needs to be comfortable in a fast-paced, growing business. To excel in our environment, he or she should be professional yet approachable, and be able to quickly and accurately respond to directives given by the SOC manager.
Special attention is paid to those candidates able to successfully demonstrate a working knowledge of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations relating to cargo security operations.
