Job Description
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of capacity management? We're on the lookout for a talented and motivated Capacity Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Capacity Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our operations run seamlessly by managing capacity and providing vital support for regional decisions. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in our communication, data analysis, and capacity interpretation efforts.
What You'll Do
Innovate Tools: Harness your creativity to develop internal tools that not only provide insights into demand and capacity but also simulate the outcomes of capacity changes. Your solutions will drive resource management improvements and support key initiatives.
Balance Capacity: Identify potential capacity gaps across different sites and regions. You'll be instrumental in developing strategies to balance capacity and ensure smooth operations across our network.
Strategic Analysis: Dive into the data! Regularly analyze demand versus capacity, contributing to strategic decisions that impact our business, operations, and supply chain strategies.
Model Standardization: Lead the charge in standardizing our capacity models across the Americas. You'll own the methodologies for asset, technology, and labor capacity, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Collaboration Champion: Collaborate with commercial and functional leaders, serving as a point of contact for product transfer feasibility studies. Your insights will be key in driving successful collaborations.
Continuous Improvement: Team up with our continuous improvement and engineering teams to drive projects focused on enhancing capacity. Your efforts will lead to increased efficiency and growth.
On-Site Validation: Put your capacity models to the test during annual on-site capacity workshops throughout our network. Your validation efforts will contribute to the accuracy of our strategies.
Knowledge Sharing: Be a knowledge hub! Build a repository of best practices and institutional knowledge around capacity management.
What We're Looking For
Passion and Expertise: A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent is your foundation. With 5+ years of experience, preferably in supply chain functions, projects, operations, or manufacturing, you're ready to take on this challenge.
Tech Savviness: You're a wizard with Power BI and Microsoft Excel. Your proficiency in these tools will drive our data-driven decisions.
Global Outlook: Proficiency in English is a must, and you're excited about collaborating across sites in the Americas region. Occasional travel (up to 25%) is no big deal for you.
Remote Ready: This role welcomes remote candidates from the USA and Mexico. If you're motivated to make an impact from a distance, this is the opportunity for you!
Ready to take your career to the next level as a Capacity Manager? Join us in shaping the future of capacity management and making an impact that resonates across our organization. Your journey begins here.
Note: This role offers a remote option and an equal opportunity for candidates in the USA and Mexico.
