Summer Camp Counselor Jobs

Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center is a family friendly entertainment facility in downtown San Francisco. Every summer, Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center is looking to employ camp counselors that offer meaningful teamwork skills, flexibility to evolve learned and existing skills with leadership, and act promptly in fast paced activities such as ice skating and bowling.

Camp Counselors work under the direction supervision of the Camp Director and are responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the Summer Camp Program. We are seeking creative, talented young adults at the minimum age of 17 who are serious about providing a meaningful, fun, and safe summer experience for children ages 7 through 12. We need flexible individuals who can work as an integral part of a team, take initiative, are punctual, and are able to make a commitment to work through the entire summer camp season. Employee booklets will be provided and reviewed to all employees. Daily uniform requirements will also be discussed during staff training.

Summer Camp season: Mid-June through mid-August; staff training will take place the week before camp starts. Camp weeks are 6/12-6/16, 6/19-6/23, 6/26-6/30, (no Camp during the week of Independence Day holiday), 7/10-7/14, 7/17-7/21, 7/24-7/24, 7/31-8/4, 8/7-8/11. Camp daily hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Hourly beginning 7/1/23, San Francisco Minimum Wage Law of 2023 will become $18.07 per hour. Maximum number of hours daily is 7.5 hours.
