Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial tracking, cross-organizational initiatives, and operational efficiency across our organization. Your expertise in business management, finance, and strategic planning will contribute to the success of our business and help us achieve our cultural priorities.


Responsibilities:

  • Help create, drive, and support cross-organizational people projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure timely completion of business operation activities aligned with overall business and cultural priorities.
  • Streamline reporting goals and maintain comprehensive key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner closely with stakeholders, talent acquisition, and recruiting to set and manage people and non-people targets.
  • Drive regular key performance indicator reviews and support the finance rhythm of business.
  • Plan and organize content for offsites, site visits, leadership team meetings, and business reviews.
  • Develop and manage organizational assets such as presentations, policies, procedures, team websites, and collaboration platforms.
  • Streamline business processes, optimizing for quality, efficiency, and effective resource management.
  • Lead and orchestrate resource management, planning, and fiscal year priorities.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders within the organization to manage and drive special projects.
  • Drive employee engagement efforts, including recognition programs, feedback surveys, and people planning initiatives.
  • Track organization spend versus budget and collaborate with the EA team to manage controllable expenses effectively.
  • Lead and execute organization-wide strategic initiatives and change management projects.
  • Create and manage the rhythm of business (ROB), including business reviews, technical reviews, annual planning, and cross-organizational reporting.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent written, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify and manage complex business and technology topics.
  • Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to provide valuable business insights.
  • Relevant experience in engineering environments working on rhythm-of-business activities, business operations, finance, or similar fields.
  • Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to organize a busy workload and deliver projects on time.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, operations, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven capabilities to drive positive business results through cross-group collaboration and partnerships.
  • 5+ years of experience in business management, operations, finance, or product/program management with a proven track record of increasing roles and responsibilities.
  • Experience in cross-functional program management or technical program management.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SharePoint, ADO, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with internal budget tools, Employee Central (EC) systems, and Digital Learning Solutions (DLS).
