Business Process Analyst Jobs

A growing and established organization seeks a Senior Business Process Analyst. The ideal person will be crucial in driving implementation and change management. They will be involved in driving change in existing and new business processes. You will be collaborating with key stakeholders to meet objectives. Experience with distributed systems and mainframe projects as you will manage these projects through all phases of the software development cycle.

This hybrid role will require you to work three days a week onsite and two days remotely. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.

Duluth, GA area. Relocation is not offered, and you must live in the Duluth, GA, metropolitan area

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements documentation, including BRDs, process flows, DACIs, wireframes, or other assets used to collect business needs
• Help to develop and understand business processes
• Coordinate with teams to ensure plans are written correctly and with the proper documentation
• Will be documenting and following business processes
• Explain and document complex use cases and scenarios.
• Form a strong working relationship with key stakeholders such as analysts, designers, and architects to meet strategic solutions
• Understand the current and evolving future state of the Business/IT process.
• Be involved in user acceptance, smoke testing, and anything needed to drive implementation
• Document and help manage the change and adoption of new processes
• Partner with different departments to discover issues that need to be resolved
• You will be conducting research and business process analysis

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile lifecycle management tools (Jira, Rally).
• Four to six years of experience as a business analyst or in comparable positions
• Have expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall software development methodologies. Ideally, Agile/Scrum
• Experience leading onsite service implementations
• Must be driven and able to use practical project management skills
• Possess knowledge of various logic diagrams and requirements documentation methods and formats
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, MIS, or related field
• Support of installing applications on tablets, iPhones, and Android devices
• Skilled at developing relationships with the different divisions and key stakeholders that you will be collaborating with
• Must have experience in a highly regulated industry such as banking, life insurance, etc.
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and diagramming software
• Bonus: have a solution guided mindset
• You need to be strategic and very detail-oriented
• Must be a strong communicator
• Must have experience working in a growing and robust software enterprise environments
• Must be strategic and skilled at solving problems
• Utilize excellent customer service skills to build rapport with end-users and maintain positive communication
• Experienced using a metrics-driven approach to complete your analysis.
• Comfortable having difficult conversations with necessary people in the organization
• Bonus: experience with Mainframe or distributed system projects
• Experience with Business Process Modeling, including swim lanes

Compensation:

• $80,000 to $100,000
