CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Services company, is looking for a Project Developer / Business Operations Analyst.

For the Project Developer tasks, a successful candidate will support the Energy Project Manager team with developing and maintaining project trackers, and managing reporting requirements for both individual projects and the full project portfolio. They will be responsible for ensuring internal and external briefings are current with the latest project information, and support records management. The Project Developer will also provide ad-hoc technical support to development of energy generation, storage, and distribution projects at Air Force installations under direction from a Project Manager.

For the Business Operations Analysts tasks, a successful candidate will support Government decision makers by providing technical expertise for energy program requirements and interpretation, and assists with development of policy/guidance for energy program planning and evaluation. A successful candidate will develop processes based on policy requirements, develop metrics, track energy priorities and goals, and document best practices and lessons learned. They will develop/update presentations including senior leadership briefings, handle internal/external audits, and track and/or respond to headquarters taskers/inquiries.

Work will be conducted with minimal supervision and selected applicant must have demonstrated independent problem-resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Required Skills

• Business analytics / data visualization capabilities
• Ability to manage schedule and workload to successfully work multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
• Current and direct experience in and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) without instruction
• Ability to develop written material based on pre-existing content or based on research and/or interviews
• Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain good relationships and work effectively with other team members
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required Experience

• Experience working with Air Force executive organizations preferred
• Experience and/or education in energy resilience and/or conservation
• Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, project-centric environment
• 3+ years of professional work experience
• Experience with energy project development, DoD, and other Federal Agency programs preferred
• Demonstrated experience in technical writing and editing preferred
• Experience in program requirements and process development
• Experience with organizing and managing data on a Sharepoint site
• Experience with writing in the Air Force style is highly desirable (e.g., knowledge of Air Force Tongue and Quill)
