Job Description

Job Title: Business Intelligence Report Architect
Essential Functions:
  • Partners with managers to integrate improved business intelligence in functions’ processes, workflows, and decision-making methods.
  • Translates complex business requirements into technical requirements to implement reports and dashboards created from multiple data sources.
  • Architect for the entire enterprise semantic layer, determining requirements, design, metrics, and method of performance measurement.
  • Identifies necessary business intelligence system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
  • Leads the reporting architecture of operational and management reporting services; designs reporting schemas and data marts.
  • Option to work at headquarters in Des Moines, IA or work from a home office located anywhere in the U.S.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Report Architect, BI Report Developer, or similar duties under a different job title.
Experience to Include:
  • 2 years with data modelling tools and techniques and SSIS.
  • 1 year with Cube design and development.
  • 3 years with: Web Focus, Tableau, IBM, Cognos, Power BI, OBIEE or similar SSBI product; TSQL or SQL; semantic layer and schema designs (Star and Snowflake); enterprise-scale reports and dashboards; preparing big datasets; data science development using data warehouse; AWS; and Snowflake database platform.
Successful candidates may work at headquarters in Des Moines, IA (717 Mulberry Street) or work from a home office located anywhere in the U.S.
Salary Range: between $99,840 to $104,558 per year.
