Designs, develops and delivers analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions in the form of decision systems, presentation objects, reports and dashboards to support pricing analytics and portfolio management strategies and objectives. Plays an active role in Mortgage data management and reporting initiatives. Interacts with Mortgage line of business (LOB) management, system users and other team members to determine data analytics requirements. Partners with data modelers and architects in designing and enhancing data architecture.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Validates design with business requirements to ensure completeness of the BI solution. Actively contribute to design reviews, workshops, and provide technical insight and knowledge.
- Creates and develops end user training and documentation for BI solutions, as well as oversee ongoing support and maintenance of deployed BI solutions.
- Develops and applies a structured BI architecture approach and methodology that aligns with the key strategies of the organization. Defines, implements and refines the BI solution development methodology based in industry best practices.
- Supports mortgage portfolio management through enhanced data analytics and forecasting to meet or exceed profitability targets and balance sheet growth strategies. Understands and becomes an expert in the pricing data flow between the bank and its partners - originators, aggregators and investors.
- Designs, develops and evolves presentation objects, reports and dashboards for delivery of BI solutions to meet business needs of pricing analytics division of mortgage lending.
- Develops data validation strategies for data from varied sources and reach out to new data sources to meet the business requirements of pricing strategy adjustment analytics.
- Identifies data quality issues and supports data governance initiatives by participating in necessary activities including data profiling.
- Creates and maintains data analytics processes through extensive use of analytical software tools to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources and create pricing strategy.
- Develops and designs data models, semantic layers, and data processing and transformation rules for proper data representation.
- Performs dimensional modeling and serve as subject matter expert on slowly changing dimensions, historic data capture, error capture and reporting thus developing business decisions regarding pricing changes.
- Applies architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability. Ensures that solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness, and leverage existing technologies, when possible.
- Prepares system and data specifications and create appropriate documentation such as business dimensional models and data mapping diagrams.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- Knowledge of BI tool (e.g. MicroStrategy, SAS, Tableau, QlikView, SAP) architecture, functions and features.
- Experience with queries, data warehouse architecture, data quality and data profiling; strong understanding of database concepts like referential integrity, indexes and keys.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent education and related training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills allowing the ability to work independently or in conjunction with a team.
- 4+ years of experience in analysis, design, development, customization, implementation and testing of data and analytics applications and products, out of which two years of presentation layer development experience, and two years of experience with data warehousing and database programming.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with a wide range of business and technical staff.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Hadoop and/or Netezza data environments.
- Advanced knowledge in developing queries and procedures in SQL, SAS or other programming languages.
