Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote | Wfh

As the primary liaison between our business leaders and the analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in defining analytical solutions and managing projects from inception to delivery.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with business leaders to identify and define analytical solutions for business challenges, taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
Utilize your expertise in developing complex SQL queries and data extraction techniques to ensure the alignment between data and underlying business processes.
Design, develop, monitor, and maintain analysis and reporting solutions, effectively communicating the results to key stakeholders.
Partner with business leaders to understand their processes and metrics, delivering actionable information through well-designed analytic and reporting solutions.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and develop prototypes for ongoing analysis and reporting needs.
Foster effective communication between our IT department and business partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
Assist the BI Architect in gathering business requirements for data warehouse designs and solutions.
Collaborate with business unit and IT management to drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of our information systems.
Perform other activities as requested, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Minimum of 7+ years' experience in data gathering, organization, and analysis using Microsoft SQL. Strong familiarity with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI is highly desired.
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, or ETL-related roles is preferred.
Experience with dashboard applications such as Qlik Sense or Tableau would be advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry certification and experience.
Consulting experience or related background would be highly valued.
Strong knowledge and experience with relational database platforms, particularly SQL Server.
Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FERPA, GLBA, DoE Blue Book, Accreditation Standards, etc.) as they relate to data integrity and privacy.
Skills
Advanced SQL querying skills are a must.

Work Environment
The work is primarily performed indoors in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment.
Regular business hours with occasional overtime requirements.
