Job Description
  • Inside sales and support to sell software applications, mobile applications, card solutions and management services
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Manage the business development effort, generate and qualify leads for subsequent development, perform key account planning and maintain favorable business relationships with key accounts
  • Call on government agencies to prospect and get new accounts
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities
  • Participate in networking, industry organizations and events
  • Build relationships and provide solutions to potential new clients and existing clients


Requirements


  • Solid working experience with MS Office Suite required; experience with a CRM tool like Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, communicate and be a team player
  • Three or more years of experience of business-to-business consultative technical sales and business development (software, SaaS, web applications, mobile apps) to include cold calling
  • Strong prospecting, sales and closing skills
  • Management or leadership experience is a plus
  • Experience selling to City and State Government, and C-level clients
  • Must be well-organized with the ability to orchestrate multiple parties involved in a decision-making process
  • Bachelor's degree, (Business - Sales or Marketing preferred)
  • Effective in networking, referrals and building relationships
  • Independent worker able to function with a minimum amount of direction
  • Experience with preparing sales and web presentations, RFPs/RFQs, bids and proposals
  • Strong communication skills written, verbal and listening
  • Marketing, Transportation, Senior Living, or Trade Show Management experience is a plus
