The Business Controller will contribute to the achievement of the Specialty Gases objectives by providing business advice and counsel to the Spec Gas Business Teams supporting the NA region with some Global responsibilities. You will ensure financial integrity and controls, as well as provide analysis and guidance on pricing and cost management, asset optimization, production controlling and resource allocation. Responsibilities include ad hoc problem solving, cash flow and financial results analysis and reporting, proactive interface with regional accounting, and partnering closely with the local and global business teams.

This position is important to the ongoing profitable growth of our NA/Global Specialty Gases business. Our Specialty Gases customers are large technology companies to whom we provide a wide portfolio of Deposition, Etching, Dopant and Cleaning materials including advanced and commodity electronics materials, all used directly or indirectly in the manufacturing of semiconductors, LCD panels, LED and photovoltaic cells. The Business Controller will support our business team across all product lines.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• In addition to supporting local stakeholders, responsibilities include consolidating, reporting and analysis of financial results and proposals for Spec Gases worldwide operations.
• Support Capital investment plans and ROI calculations working with site operations, marketing, product management and corporate teams.
• Provide Business Partnering and Controller support to Production, Supply Chain and Marketing Management/Teams with all forward-looking activities (i.e. Gross Margin management, Inventory monitoring, Forecasting/Budgeting, Quarterly Landings, Standard Cost updates) plus monthly analysis and reporting of operational performance/variances.
• Act as a strong sparring partner during the evaluation of projects/ideas or in the interpretation of developments of Semiconductor solutions in the US to steer financial outlook and required business changes.

The preferred location for this role is Allentown or Hometown (Tamaqua), PA. This role can be located at any of our other US sites or be fully remote with travel to meet with key partners.

Who you are:

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience (inclusive of 3 years in a financial leadership/FP&A/business partnering role)
• Bachelor's degree -business, finance, accounting, or other related discipline

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong analytical (including advanced Excel skills) and problem-solving ability
• Team player and ability to work independently
• Proficiency with written and spoken English
• Graduate level business education (MBA/CFA/CMA preferred)
• Ability to confidently story-tell/ present findings to stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines
• Experience working with global teams
• Experience working in Production Controlling/Cost Accounting supporting a Manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SAP, BPC, and Microsoft Office Applications
