Business Consultant

• The ideal candidate will live near the middle Tennessee office but will consider highly qualified candidates from additional locations. This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 0-3 days in office per month. May be required to travel into the office once a quarter.

The Business Consultant is responsible for translating moderately complex and varied business needs into product requirements. Possesses knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.

How You Will Make An Impact

• May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects.
• Analyzes and designs products to address complex and varied business needs.
• Determines specific business product requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
• Consults with IT partners concerning application and implementation of technology.  

Minimum Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years business analysis experience, which should include analysis and project management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
• Familiar with Product Lifecyle Management preferred.
• Experience using project management tools preferred (JIRA, VISIO, Azure DevOps, Excel)
• Ability to create workflows/process flows preferred.
• Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $79,420 to $150,480.
