The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) implementation team. The plan is to go live on our Minimal Viable Product (MVO) for a $250M operating company in early Q4 and then deliver continuous improvements to the business in 2024.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate small group sessions to document as-is and to-be business processes in process flow diagrams with structured supporting text.
• Crisply document business needs and other requirements in a structured format in DevOps.
• Plan, lead, and support training via Teams as appropriate.
• Serve as workstream leader performing basic project management including leadership, coordination, task completion, communication and tracking to schedule.
• Work with business process owners and subject matter experts to define process goals, metrics, requirements, core business scenarios, and envisioned complications.
• Conduct gap analysis to prioritize areas where D365 does not meet the organization's needs.
• Work with our implementation partner to configure the D365 ERP system to meet the organization's requirements and document the configurations.
• Develop functional design specs for development by our Power Platform team.
• Serve in an all-hands-on-deck mode at go live including support for end users during hyper care.
• Evaluate business process changes, workarounds, and Power Platform options to fill any gaps.
• Transform the business requirements into formal test cases and participate in the testing.
• Transform the to-be process flow diagrams and business requirements into user training.

Qualifications

• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience in facilitating and producing to-be process flows (DFDs, Swimlane process maps, and/or BPMN 2.0).
• Able to conduct project and process visioning sessions to align on goals and scope.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business process owners and cross-functional teams.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience as a workstream team leader.

Additional Qualifications the Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Expertise in specialty construction.
• Experience in an ERP implementation project, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 F&O.

Education

Four-year University degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration in a related field, or equivalent experience.
