  • Business Analyst III *
Location: This position will work on a hybrid model (remote and office), 0-3 times per month. The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The Business Analyst III is responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.
How You Will Make An Impact
  • Ability to manage and prioritize work assignments and projects based on business needs.
  • Effectively research leads and identify ideas for additional overpayment opportunities.
  • Ability to investigate, research and adhere to medical coding guidelines.
  • Maintain awareness of variances in medical policies that may be applicable to concept execution and design.
  • Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
  • Act as a resource for business partners and external clients to address any issues, concerns, discrepancies, questions, and ability to provide support or SME for the team.
  • Ability to follow procedures and be able to document client-specific processes and procedures.
  • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
  • Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
  • Contribute to team growth with innovation and agility.
  • Work frequently with business partners and external clients to develop, maintain, improve, and enhance business requirements.
  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
  • Participate as a liaison between the business, business partners and external clients.
  • Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
  • Uphold high standards with sensitive data handling and client confidentiality.
  • Adhere to team and role expectations.
  • Translate multifaceted business needs and requirements into specific applications that are complex in nature.
  • May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
  • Conduct concept validation with the ability to analyze large data sets to be able to trend and research anomalies.
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate appropriately with business partners and external clients.
Minimum Requirements
  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, And Experiences
  • Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed.
  • Claims Experience to include any combination of the following: claims processing, adjustments, recovery, disputes, Government or Commercial business.
  • Advanced skill level with MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, V-lookup, etc.
  • Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
  • If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a research-oriented approach; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and/or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role-specific training, monitoring of daily job functions, and sensitive data handling instructions.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $68,080 to $122,544.
Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
