Position: Pricing Lead
Location: Hybrid (Arlington, VA) - 2 /3 days per week in office
Compensation: Up to $140 + Excellent benefits

Responsibilities
The Lead Pricing Analyst will have strong industry experience partnering with our client's IPR business unit to grow the business and support the FFRDC business unit pricing needs. The Lead Pricing Analyst will oversee the redesign and execution of a strategic pricing model to address a growing pipeline of competitive, solutions-based opportunities across our Defense, Civilian, State and Intel accounts. This position has high visibility and interaction with our client's executive leadership and is responsible for minimizing risks to our client while promoting effective and efficient operations, protecting assets, and ensuring compliance of contracts, applicable laws and regulations as well as ensuring accurate pricing.
- Proactively seeks out opportunities to support corporate initiatives
- Leads and makes difficult decisions to ensure accurate pricing
- Coordinates with contracts and procurement on pricing and estimating
- Interprets and ensures compliance with established guidelines, procedures, and policies
- Collaborates with business development, operations, solutions architects, compensation, competitive intelligence, and other key stakeholders in building a standard and repeatable approach to pricing large and complex bids
- Leads pricing efforts to meet the demands of a growing volume of pipeline opportunities that includes direct award, competitive award, and large/complex prime contract opportunities
- Performs margin and price analysis to support key business initiatives as required
- Develops, maintains, and delivers strategic pricing services to the business to include competitive intelligence and price-to-win strategies
- Provides subject matter expertise for the company leading pricing strategies
- Monitors and updates commercial pricing and GSA price lists as needed
- Establishes a system of documentation, communication, and review of internal and external comparative price data, including wins and losses due to price
- Manages internal review by all affected parties and the process for obtaining internal approval in accordance with company policy
- Effectively communicates with and engages colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Serves as a role model and/or mentor for new and less experienced staff and routinely takes a lead role in training staff, particularly in helping them develop their own technical knowledge and leadership skills
- Follows policies and procedures to ensure all pricing meets RFP provisions and complies with internal policies and requirements
- Designs and executes a standard and repeatable processes to ensure timely and accurate pricing submissions
- Develops multi-year cost/pricing models to include labor, materials, subcontracts, and travel and write descriptive pricing volumes
- Works in collaboration with key stakeholders to recommend, develop and implement effective compliant and competitive pricing based on analysis and collaboration across stakeholders
- Ensures the timely resolution of issues
- Maintains all proposal documentation and supporting files
Requirements
- Ability to gain cooperation of others

- Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills with problem solving and creative skills
- Superior MS Excel skills
- Strong command of the life cycle government contracting process
- Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, confidence and integrity while directly dealing with internal and external customers
- Ability to accept and adapt to change
- Must have the demonstrated ability to examine and improve processes
- Customer focused and willing to work with a team to deliver results
- Working knowledge of DCAA and DCMA is required
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) and key terms such as Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts
- Demonstrate assertiveness and the ability to work independently and in a team environment, have excellent interpersonal skills and be self-motivated
- Minimum 12 years of relevant estimating experience with demonstrated progressive experience preparing competitive business and cost proposals
- Excellent writing, communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Experience in leading and shaping large, complex, full and open competitive awards
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with government contracting life cycle process preferred
- An advanced degree desirable
Education/Certification Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in business, quantitative analysis or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
