Cantor Fitzgerald/ BGC Partners Reference Data Business Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of Customer and Instrument Reference Data Products.

Responsibilities:

• Track product performance metrics and report on progress to senior management.
• Gather requirements and work with engineering teams on implementing new products and features.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to successfully deploy reference data products.
• Monitor industry trends and new vendor offerings to identify new service opportunities.
• Work with software development teams to manage existing data services, ensuring that all data is accurate.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, and financial instruments.

- Strong understanding of account on-boarding process.

- Knowledge of data management concepts and technologies.

- Strong project management skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong SQL and Database Management Skills.

- Proficiency with Scripting and Data Analysis using Python and/or R.

- Experience with ETL Tools.

- Proficiency in DevOps Solutions: Git, Jira.
