Job Description
  • BUILDING CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I $5,955.00 per month (F110)

  • Location: Island of Oahu

  • Office of Facilities and Operations - Facilities Maintance Branch, Repair & Maintenance Operations Section

  • Job Summary: Supervises several crews of skilled tradesmen in the maintenance, repair, alteration and renovation of buildings, structures and related facilities; and performs other duties as required.

  • Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the date of the application, unless otherwise specified. Unless specifically indicated, the required education and experience may not be gained concurrently. Note: Calculation of experience is based on full-time, 40-hour workweeks. Part-time experience is pro-rated. Example: Twelve months of experience at 20 hours/week is equivalent to six months of experience, not one year. Also, hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week will not be credited. Example: Twelve months of experience at 60 hours/week is equivalent to one year of experience, not one and a half years.

  • Minimum Qualification Requirements: Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the date of the application, unless otherwise specified. To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements : Experience and Training : Four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in the maintenance of buildings or structures, of which two (2) years shall have been over other skilled tradesmen, and graduation from high school; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Selective Certification: 1. Valid driver's license. Please mail a copy (or attach a scanned copy) of your license immediately upon applying. 2. Lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted, and lift/carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds assisted by another person and/or use of equipment (e.g., hoisting equipment, hand truck).
