Civil West Engineering Services is seeking a Construction Inspector, with a desire to work in a team-oriented environment specializing in municipal water, wastewater, storm water, streets, and associated planning and project management. The right candidate will become part of our team and will ultimately learn, gain experience, and grow all while taking on more responsibilities. Our philosophy is to promote from within.

WHAT QUALIFCATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 10+ years of construction inspection experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, geotechnical, electrical, environmental, or another relevant engineering discipline a plus but not required.
• Aptitude with Microsoft Office products and AutoCAD Civil 3D a big plus but not required.
• History of successful projects and satisfied clients.

Civil West Engineering Services, Inc. is a private consulting firm specializing in multi-disciplinary engineering projects and services for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Civil West headquarters are located on the beautiful Oregon coast in Coos Bay. Our engineers hold professional registrations in Oregon, California, Washington, and multiple other states. We offer opportunities to engage in communities, build lifelong friendships and practice many aspects of the trade.

We strive to provide a balance between work and non-work. Normal hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and employees are not expected to work more than 40 hours per week (although if they elect to do so, they are compensated in a number of ways). WHERE IS THIS JOB LOCATED?

We believe in hard work, flexibility, and having fun. That being said, the job location can be negotiated at any of our office locations in Oregon. Each location has its own unique climate, personality, and culture.

• Medford, OR (Rogue Valley Office): The Rogue Valley is a true gem in Oregon. Don’t forget, you are a little over a 1-hour drive from famous Crater Lake!
• Albany, OR (Willamette Valley Office): Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Albany offers local breweries and dining, dozens of wineries, various family attractions (including the historic carousel and museum in downtown Albany), close proximity to Oregon State University for athletic events & activities, and is centrally located to many outdoor recreation areas (1 hour drive to the Oregon Coast, 1.5 hours to the mountains & skiing, 1.5 hours to Portland).
