Budget Analyst Jobs

Our client, a higher education institution, is seeking a Budget Manager to support their Development/Alumni Relations and University Relations divisions!

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of procurement including receiving invoices, processing requisitions, and paying vendors.
• Collaborate with internal and external constituencies to ensure legal and financial compliance and achieve organizational objectives.
• Work with the Office of Planning and Budget to ensure the availability of funds.
• Reconcile Chrome River expense reports in accordance with the university’s current travel and expense policy.
• Assist with the development and review of annual operating, capital, and restricted budgets.
• Participate in monthly meetings for budget staff.
• Perform other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Manage all departmental contracts within university systems, including maintaining records and facilitating approvals.
• Create and maintain financial reports, prepare budget transfers, process journal vouchers, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Finance/Accounting or Business preferred, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the proven ability to follow through with deadlines and deliverable dates.
