Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute all hair color artwork for international, from design through to highly complex copy and artwork approvals, color proofing and release
- Liaise regularly with Regional marketing teams across NPD and core business
- Lead, troubleshoot and manage all aspects of stage gate/innovation process / timeline from idea to launch, interfacing with R&D, Packaging, Product Development, Operations, Finance and other departments, on new or core product creation/optimization that is delivered on time and in budget
- Analyze the potential of new products or core product optimization feasibility (sales and profit analysis, forecasting, competitive review target audience, pricing, etc), manage NPD database, and prepare documents to facilitate stage gate approval with leadership
- Budget support such as tracking PO’s for day-to-day business
- Prepare marketing presentations and materials for senior management
- Become category expert to lead competitive landscape and emergent trend analysis; To inform product ideation and concept writing in line with strategy
- Responsible for development of yearly marketing book for global and local markets
- Lead NPD and core business optimization across hair color (with focus on international portfolio)
- Lead the optimization and execution of Hair Color on our core business (artwork, merchandising, ecommerce)
- Support in the ideation and execution of launch strategies and marketing activities for all new and existing products
- Work with internal creative team to brief and manage the development of all NPD and core product marketing assets (leading brief and management of photoshoots at our internal beauty lab or externally) to be used across global markets
- Responsible for leading analysis to uncover new category and market opportunities to inform hair color strategy
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Must be a self-starter
- Knowledge of administration and project management skills
- Knowledge of package design, advertising
- Creative thinker who knows how to go outside of the box to achieve results
- Project Management experience
- Ability to analyze market trends and consumer research
- Experience in Hair Color and/or beauty and/or personal care categories a plus
- 4-5 years relevant work experience in marketing or brand management
- Understanding of P&L and general financial analysis
- Knowledge in all areas of marketing
- Ability to innovate, develop and execute against all product initiatives
- Nielsen, Excel, PowerPoint
- Global market experience a plus
