We are looking for a Fuel Tender D to assist in operating the boilers, water softeners, and related equipment.

Reporting to the Energy Manager and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will be:
- Assists with lighting and operating the boilers.
- Unloading of salt trucks into the softener brine pits.
- Opening and closing valves along with starting and stopping pumps.
- Performing Lock Out of equipment in the area for maintenance activities.
- Trouble-shooting equipment and operational issues and report findings or observations.
- Drawing water samples and performs chemical tests on the samples.
- Mixes batches of chemicals and adjusts chemical feed rates.
- Monitoring and operating the plant water softeners, Cogeneration Plant Demineralizer, and related equipment.
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Qualified based on general experience and fitness and ability.
- Valid California Driver's license.
- Forklift, scissor lift, bobcat, computer, and other equipment as required by job.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
- Intermediate English reading and writing skills.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude, computer skills, and plant operating knowledge are desirable.
