Position Summary
As a Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in our clinic's medical billing department, ensuring that insurance claims and patient billing are processed seamlessly and payments are collected promptly. Your expertise in billing, along with your excellent customer service skills, will be key in providing friendly and confidential assistance to all our valued patients.
Key Responsibilities
Patient-Centric Support: You'll be the friendly face and voice of our clinic, providing courteous assistance to patients through both phone and in-office interactions. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will leave a lasting impression on our patients.
Billing Expertise: Utilizing your knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, you'll accurately code the services provided, guaranteeing that claims are correctly prepared, processed, and submitted in a timely manner.
Efficient Payment Handling: You'll handle payment postings and credits to patient accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately balanced at the end of each day.
Claim Resolutions: When dealing with insurance companies, you'll expertly handle any billing queries or issues that arise, and even prepare letters of appeal if needed, to support payment for all insurance payers.
Data Management: Your attention to detail will shine as you enter data and charges into our billing system, generating essential reports and ensuring complete and accurate transmission of data.
Compliance: Adhering to state and federal regulations, you'll ensure our clinic's billing practices meet all necessary guidelines.

Qualifications And Benefits
Experience in ICD-10 coding is preferred.
Full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
